Joe Biden will likely be the most anti-gun President that America has ever seen. Honestly, that has less to do with Joe Biden and more to do with the people that surround him.
Snarling, snapping, America-hating leftists like Vice President Kamala Harris, Beto O’Rourke, Michael Bloomberg, Senator Mark Kelly and others hate gun owners — and they want to punish us for daring to stand up and fight for our freedom.
They don’t want to tweak our gun rights. They want to obliterate them, because our Second Amendments freedoms are the only thing standing between us and run-away government tyranny!
But while we do everything in our power to hold the line against federal gun control, it’s crucial that we have a PLAN B in case Biden is successful.
That’s why Wyoming Gun Owners is working to advance the Second Amendment Preservation Act (SAPA) which would nullify federal gun control laws here in Wyoming!
As we’ve said before, SAPA legislation is based on the well-established anti-commandeering doctrine which states that the federal government may not simply ‘commandeer’ the state’s legislative authority and force us to submit to federal laws that conflict with state law.
The idea that the states are separate legal entities that have the right to tell the federal government to pound sand has been upheld by the Supreme Court repeatedly — by conservative and liberal justices alike — going back hundreds of years!

Once passed, SAPA law would not only give Wyoming peace officers the option to ignore federal gun control laws, it would require that they do so. And any government officials who violate SAPA legislation would be subject to civil lawsuits!
The big question, of course, is whether or not the Wyoming legislature and Governor Gordon will pass this legislation and protect gun owners like us.

The exciting thing is that the idea of the Second Amendment Preservation Act is spreading in ‘red states’ all over the country, as gun owners seek to prevent federal attacks on our gun rights!
In Missouri, Senator Eric Burlison and Representative Jered Taylor have already filed this legislation on behalf of our sister organization, the Missouri Firearms Coalition. Last year, long before the threat of Joe Biden was a reality in gun owners minds, SAPA law had 88 cosponsors in the Missouri House!
In Iowa, Representative Jeff Shipley is filing SAPA legislation on behalf of our sister organization in the mid-west, Iowa Gun Owners.
In Minnesota, newly elected Representative Erik Mortensen is quickly making a name for himself by sponsoring SAPA legislation in conjunction with Minnesota Gun Rights, our sister organization to the North.
In Georgia, our sister organization, Georgia Gun Owners, is working to do the same thing too!
And we expect to see SAPA legislation filed and on the move in Pennsylvania and Ohio in the coming days, as well!
The only question left now is which state will be the first one to pass this legislation.
Here in Wyoming, gun owners have been sending loud messages to anti-gun Democrats and Republicans alike during last year’s primary and general election cycle — booting many gun-grabbers to the curb for voting against our gun rights!
So if the politicians in Cheyenne want to protect their careers they better pass SAPA legislation this year, safeguarding our freedoms from Joe Biden and everyone else in Congress who wants to destroy them.
