Wyoming Gun Owners has been working around the clock for almost a month as we surveyed every legislative candidate in the state, asking them where they stand on the important Second Amendment issues of the day.
Over the last few weeks, we’ve been broadcasting the results of this program on our Facebook page and YouTube channel.
Our goal is simple: we want to get as much information as possible into the hands of WYGO members and other gun owners so that you have the information you need to make an informed decision during the upcoming August primary election.
With the primary right around the corner, we are now releasing video reports via email, highlighting a specific race where there is a clear difference between the candidates where your gun rights are concerned.
Sure, not all of these videos will be about your district.
But even if they don’t involve your district, I would encourage you to watch these so you can understand just how anti-gun so many incumbent Republicans are right here in Wyoming.
Today’s video report highlights Senate District 19, (Bighorn and Park County) featuring incumbent State Senator R.J. Kost, former Senator Ray Peterson, and State Representative Dan Laursen.
As you’re about to find out, Dan Laursen has been a rock star for gun owners in the House for a long time. Ray Peterson is on the record supporting waiting periods on gun sales!
And R.J. Kost voted to mandate ‘Gun Free Zones.’ Kost voted to weaken the Second Amendment Preservation Act. And Kost WILL NOT condemn ‘Red Flag Gun Seizures!’

Now that you have the facts, I hope you’ll do two things immediately.

The fight for our precious Second Amendment has never been hotter here in Wyoming! The liberal left has teamed up with the moderates in Cheyenne and they are determined to hammer away at our gun rights until we’re the next Colorado.
This is our chance to fight back!
