Happy Thanksgiving from Wyoming Gun Owners!
We certainly have much to be thankful for here in Wyoming, where our gun rights are concerned.
Starting in late January, WYGO members hammered away at dangerous (Republican-lead) FIX-NICS mental health gun control legislation, leading to the bill sponsor pulling the bill days before session began.
WYGO members also ensured that legislation to mandate a 3-day waiting period on all handgun sales — another bill that had Republican support — died in the opening day of the session.
And the pressure from WYGO members also helped us get a massive number of co-sponsors on our legislation to rid Wyoming of deadly ‘Gun Free Zones.’
Of course, it was during the primary and general elections that WYGO members roared the loudest this year, shocking the establishment and liberal media outlets across the state.
Michael Von Flatern, David Northrup, Bill Pownall, Dan Kirkbride and many other incumbents were removed from office this year — after WYGO exposed them with digital, radio, and TV ads!
And pro-gun stalwarts like Anthony Bouchard, Tim Salazar, Chuck Gray, Dan Laursen and others were sent back to Cheyenne to lead the charge for the Second Amendment.
None of this would have happened without you.
It’s your activism that defeated all of the gun control bills that were filed in Cheyenne this year.
It’s your activism that lead to the defeat of so many candidates and incumbents who support gun control here in Wyoming.
And it’s your financial support that allowed Wyoming Gun Owners to expose these gun grabbers and lead the charge for the Second Amendment in Cheyenne!
You see, what I’m truly thankful for today (where our Second Amendment freedoms are concerned) are the members and supporters of Wyoming Gun Owners — a ferocious group of grassroots patriots ready to defend freedom at a moment’s notice!
But with the 2021 legislative session right around the corner, and the increasing likelihood that Joe Biden will be in the White House come January, now is not the time to sit on the sidelines.
We’re going to have to stand up for our freedoms like never before come January, to stop Joe Biden’s relentless efforts to ban, confiscate, and destroy our guns.
And of course, the fight for the Second Amendment Preservation Act is about to resume, too!
