There were multiple harmful amendments shot down on the bill, several technical amendments that did not affect the bill, and one amendment that we think is damaging.

Now is the time to fix SAPA and finally cement into law protections for our gun rights from any future Democrat control in D.C.!

If enacted, WYGO’s SAPA law would give gun owners in our state complete protection the next time a democrat President tries to order our cops to enforce federal government control laws.

And if some jurisdiction in our state decides to violate that law, this legislation includes civil penalties so that you and I can hold them accountable in civil court!

Make no mistake, this is the finest version of legislation in any state in America!

WYGO’s SF-196 (the Second Amendment Preservation Act) has now passed its first and second reading votes in the Senate!

SF-196 fixes all of the gaps in Wyoming’s existing SAPA law. If we pass this bill, as it currently stands, it would be the best SAPA law of any state in America!

This bill is being carried by Senator Tim Salazar, and its leading co-sponsor is Senate President Bo Biteman. With their support, and thanks to your calls and emails, this bill is moving to the Senate at warp speed.

Moments ago, Senate File-196 passed the full Senate for the first of three readings by a vote of 31-0!

This bill fixes all of the problems with Wyoming’s existing Second Amendment Preservation Act law.

If this version is signed into law, Wyoming will have the strongest protections in the country against any future democrat president who attacks our gun rights.

We have to get SAPA right this time, we are not going to have unlimited chances to get this done.
