Breaking Alert!
Just before midnight last night, unelected Senate Parliamentarian, Elizabeth MacDonough, appointed in 2012 by Democrat Harry Reid, stripped out pro-Second Amendment provisions in the Senate version of the BBB.
NFA deregulation of SBRs, SBSs, and Suppressors . . . all nuked from the bill.
Outrageous, to say the least.
But there are TWO solutions to this problem.
Republicans in the U.S. Senate can OVERRULE this partisan hack.
First, as the President of the U.S. Senate, J.D. Vance can overrule the parliamentarian, but it takes a simple majority vote to do so.
Second, Senate Majority Leader John Thune can FIRE the parliamentarian.
Please call your Senators RIGHT NOW and insist they call on VP Vance to overrule the parliamentarian and John Thune to FIRE Elizabeth MacDonough:
