Governor Gordon has done it again.
For the third year in a row, Mark Gordon has vetoed legislation that would protect the gun rights of Wyoming citizens.
By vetoing SF-101 — Wyoming Gun Owners’ bill to strengthen our Second Amendment Preservation Act — Gordon has once again sided with law enforcement lobbyists and against gun owners!
Gun owners across Wyoming worked for months to pass this legislation. And the legislature did their job, too.
And instead of standing with the people of Wyoming, Governor Gordon spit in the face of gun owners across the state by vetoing it.
But this fight is not over.
Lawmakers are meeting tomorrow in Cheyenne to decide whether they will stand with Wyoming gun owners…or whether they will side with Governor Gordon.
>>> TELL YOUR SENATOR AND REPRESENTATIVE: OVERRIDE GORDON’S VETO ON SAPA LEGISLATION! <<<
To override this veto and make SF-101 law, we must secure:
👉 42 votes in the Wyoming House
👉 21 votes in the Wyoming Senate
That margin will be tight. Some legislators will stand strong for the Second Amendment. Others will look for excuses to hide behind the Governor.
That’s why they need to hear from you right now.
WYGO’s team is on the ground working to secure the votes that we need. Pay attention to our Facebook page throughout the day for updates when this bill gets to the floor.
