Despite the beating the RINOs took at the hands of WYGO members and other gun owners during the August primaries, the Joint Judiciary Committee just filed a gun control bill for 2025!
SF-12 creates a Permanent Order of Protection here in Wyoming, that allows for a lifetime gun ban with no criminal conviction.
Heck, you don’t even need to be charged with a crime.
This bill allows for a civil proceeding where a judge could issue a ‘finding’ that he thinks you committed a crime, then take away your right to keep and bear arms forever.
But this isn’t just a draft.
This bill was already voted on by 14 members of the Joint Judiciary Committee and it was just assigned a bill number!

Over the last two days, I’ve been working the phones talking to over a dozen Senators and Representatives about this bill.
Our pro-gun allies are going to work to defeat this bill, but there are others who think that this bill is something they can’t oppose because of ‘optics.’
I don’t know about you, but the ‘optics’ of over a dozen RINOs getting boot stomped during our primaries were pretty conclusive — WYGO members play for keeps!
Now it’s time to remind the legislature of that.
